VP LUNCHES AND NEWS 2011/12 Season

The World Cup kicks off

Well here we are with our first league game against UCS Old Boys coming up at home this Saturday 3pm kick off. See our World Cup programme which also kicks off this Saturday (10th) as England take on Argentina. This will be followed by our Minis who have swapped their training day to Saturday from Sunday immediately after the England game. Breakfast will be available from 8.30am. Then at around 12 noon Eddie Drew leads the Vets against Old Millhillians so why not make a day of it!

Pre-match Lunch 24th September

Our first Lunch of the season will on Saturday 24th September when we play Welwyn which is also our first ever Sponsors Lunch. Over the past 2 seasons we've had a dilemma on how to keep the price of the lunch down without affecting the quality of the lunch so we've decided the best way is to remove the pre-lunch bar tab. The cost of this lunch will therefore be £12 per head to include: cold buffet, pudding, cheese board, wine and coffee.

Lastly, we wish Founder Member, Eric Davies and his wife Doris many congratulations on the celebration of their 70th Wedding Anniversary this month.
